Tables

In these tables - with sortable columns - is information relating to the Multi-language subtitle project of Vanimedia. You can read about the whole project here and some instructions for translators here.

Introduction

This table Languages to Subtitle for Vanimedia shows the languages that we hope to translate Srila Prabhupada's audio clips in. It also gives the family the language belongs to, the number of speakers in the millions and in which geographical area the languages are spoken. In Dotsub, the online translating program that we use for subtitling, 508 languages are supported. There is no lack of languages to translate and Srila Prabhupada instructed his GBC that printing and translation must continue, stating "this is my request." So here is practical way to please Srila Prabhupada very much.

You can find out about the Multi-language subtitle project of Vanimedia here.

If you want to translate a language that is not mentioned here, then contact us at multi-language@no spam, thanks-vanipedia.org and we will include it as well.
